Birdman Apologizes to Lil Wayne During Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans

Cash Money Records CEO Birdman apologized to his son and  protégé Lil Wayne in their hometown of New Orleans and is making things right between the two of them. The music mogul made a surprise appearance during Saturday’s Weezyana Fest and openly apologized to Lil Wayne for their past public legal disputes.

 

“I don’t know what ya’ll know,” Birdman told the crowd inside Champion Square. “But I know what the f**k I know, and I know how I feel about what I know. I knew this day was gon’ come, but I didn’t know when it was gon’ come,” he said before praising Weezy as the “realist” and the “illest.” 

“I wanted to apologize to my n**ga worldwide,” he continued. “That n**ga put his life in my hands and I’m real with that n**ga, we gon’ do that s**t ’til the day we die. It’s YMCMB for death.”
